⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Madame Fortune is a hidden gem in Tampa. The speakeasy atmosphere is cool, intimate, and unlike anything else we’ve experienced in the area. The food was amazing. I had the turkey wings, my wife had the salmon, and both dishes were packed with flavor. The cornbread was absolutely fire and worth ordering all by itself. The live entertainment took the experience to another level. The singer was incredibly talented and kept the energy going all night. Between the food, the vibe, and the entertainment, this was one of the best date nights we’ve had in a while. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend checking it out.

First time & was a great experience from the moment we arrived. Loved the vibe and tribute to the late Madame Fortune Taylor. Alexis was our server and she was phenomenal. Her recommendations of drinks, starters & main meal were excellent. We will be back to explore more of the menu & enjoy the ambiance within. Thank you Alexis for assisting us with amazing choices and your beautiful energy.

If your looking for a unique and fun evening this unassuming restaurant is it! The entrance is made to look like a small bakery with a built in bookcase which opens into a magical speakeasy once you give the friendly hostess the secret password. The restaurant is lovely, sophisticated, romantic, yet comfortable. The craft cocktails were fabulous and unique. The entrees were large and very rich and filling and we had to take most to go. Service was friendly.

Planned a surprise birthday dinner for two. Received my password and arrived on time. Walked into Roast, which was a small waiting area with no hostess in sight. Once the "secrete" door was opened, it was obvious there was a hidden "gem" behind the door. I provided my password and was asked for the name on the reservation. I provided the password again and was asked again for the name on the reservation. So much for the surprise part of the evening. After giving the name, I was asked who was the birthday for and after answering, and quick happy birthday salutation was offered. Again, these plans were a surprise which was blown from the start. Moving into dinner, the atmosphere was cool and over the top which added to the experience. There were a few things that could use some touching up, but what space can't? We ordered the turkey wings which were cooked well but a little on the salty side, did not taste the honey component at all. We also ordered the lamb chops, whole snapper and cornbread. I visited this hidden gem for my birthday, and the experience exceeded all expectations. When we arrived at the address, we actually walked into what appeared to be a bakery called Roast. It was fully set up like a real bakery, complete with a dessert display case, which made the experience even more unique. The host greeted us and asked for a password, which had been sent when we made our reservation. After giving the password, we were led through a moving shelf door into the speakeasy—and that’s when the magic really started. Inside, the atmosphere was intimate, calming, and incredibly inviting. We were seated at a beautifully lit table and immediately felt taken care of. For drinks, we ordered the “Find Your Fortune” cocktail (vodka, guava nectar, strawberry, lime juice, and sparkling brut), which was refreshing and delicious, along with an espresso martini that was equally impressive. For our appetizer, we had the Lemon Pepper Honey Flats—a perfectly fried turkey wing with amazing seasoning that stood out right away.
